Water Pollution

The soil, air and water pollution are closely related to each other. Industrial waste, tanneries, domestic waste when mixed with drinking water produces a lot of health problems. These include cholera, typhoid, dysentery, jaundice, and various other stomach disorders. The chemical fertilizers and insecticides washed away from soil and the acid rain makes the water reserves to get polluted making them unsuitable for drinking. Discharge from dying industries play a vital role in polluting water sources like lakes, ponds, rivers. Proper water recycling methods, afforestation, drinking boiled water can reduce the health problems raised by water pollution. The Government has to take suitable steps in maintaining the quality of packaged drinking water by checking those industries periodically. Waste water from kitchen can be used to provide water for growing plants and trees.
